At each location, you will also enjoy amazing lectures from Dr. Jim Tennison, who has a rich amount of experience in sports as a former mascot/marketing leader for the Dallas Mavericks, Texas Rangers, and Colorado Rockies.

Meet your trip leader

Jim Tennison has a rich background in sports, having served as a mascot/marketing leader for the Dallas Mavericks, Texas Rangers, and Colorado Rockies. For the last decade, he has served as a Sports Management professor at Dallas Baptist University and Tarleton State University. Jim has a gift for making learning come alive as you visit sports facilities and he is able to tell about the behind-the-scenes action that goes on to make a sporting event possible. He draws from his deep knowledge of the inner workings of sports teams to help you understand everything that goes into making a sporting event a magical experience for guests.

Well appointed hotels, airfare, experienced guides and leaders throughout the trip, London “Tube” passes, Tours throughout the trip, train tickets, bus accommodations, and all other transportation arrangements.

In terms of meals, breakfast will be provided at the hotel and participants are free to choose their own budget for lunches and dinners, which are up to them. You will also have the opportunity to enjoy a paid meal with your trip leaders during a guided discussion time two times on this trip.

    See the sights and sounds of the heart of London as we see walk alongside sights such as Big Ben, the Houses of Parliament, Westminster Abbey, St. James Park, and Buckingham Palace.

    London’s subway system (lovingly called the “Tube”) is a modern marvel. Engage in a fun and engaging activity where you and your team will compete against other teams as you are given clues to take you to prominent locations and experience the vibrancy of this underground world for yourself!
